Frequently Asked Questions

What are eyelash extensions?

Eyelash extensions are made from synthetic hair. Each synthetic lash is grafted to an individual eyelash, not the skin. It is a very enhancing beauty service and you DO NOT need to use any Mascara while wearing eyelash extensions. Eyelash extensions require skill and precision. Once applied, these lashes are so natural looking it is difficult to tell even tell that you have extensions on. Size availability ranges from short to long. Lashes are available in Black and are virtually weightless.

How long will my eyelash extensions last?

A natural lash grows and sheds naturally in a cycle that lasts 60-90 days. Your eyelash extensions will stay on your lashes for up to 3-6 weeks with proper care and bi-weekly maintenance. However, factors such as eyelash characteristic, natural skin oils, lifestyle and general after-care will affect how long the lashes last.

How often do I need to book in infills?

It is recommended to book in every 3 weeks.

Can the eyelash extensions be removed?

Yes, at any time and for any reason they can be removed. Please do not attempt to remove any lashes on your own, seek professional help.

Do the lashes get glued to my skin?

No! The lashes are applied one extension to one natural lash.

Why dont my lashes look like my friends lashes?

Each eye is shaped differently and creates different looks on the face. Another thing to keep in mind some people have many natural lashes therefore they may have a fuller look compared to someone that dosent have very many lashes.

What do I need to do to prepare for my eyelash extension procedure?

Ensure the eye area is clean. Remove eye make up with an oil free makeup remover. Eyes must be free of any oil residue and completely dry before the extensions are applied. (Ideally this should be done 1 hour prior to your appointment).

Do not curl the lashes prior.

It is also recommended to remove contact lenses prior to the procedure.

Eyelash extensions cannot be applied if you have:

  • An eye infection

  • Conjunctivitis

  • Recent eye surgery (eg. Laser)

  • Sore or swollen eyes

  • Eyelash perm

  • Eyelash tints (before 24 hours)
